Smriti Mandhana rotation approach and emphasis on bowling depth throughout the series underlined India’s readiness for the upcoming championship. After the top order struggled in the first match and the second match left the middle order with insufficient batting opportunities, the captain decided to bat first in the third match to give the middle order more playing time. This rotation method ensured that different batting groups had adequate time in the midst of the series.

The Zimbabwe series displayed India’s bowling resources, which included many players. Nandani Sharma got six wickets in the series, while Kranti Gaud claimed three and Niki Prasad grabbed three. Throughout the three matches, Smriti Mandhana used six different bowlers, displaying the captain’s diversity of options.
